Quiz not working: Continue button, submission errors, and other issues

Troubleshooting steps if the Rituala quiz won't advance, throws a submission error, or fails to complete — including connection checks, browser tips, and how to get help.

If the quiz isn't advancing or you hit an error, here's how to get unstuck.

If you see "failed to submit" or get an error at the end

If you reached the end of the quiz but it says it failed to submit:

  1. Don't close the page. Your answers are saved — a refresh is safe and won't lose your progress.

  2. Check your internet connection and try submitting again. A brief signal drop at the final step is the most common cause.

  3. If it fails again, close and reopen tryrituala.com/quiz — you'll resume where you left off.

  4. Still seeing the error? Message us in chat or email [email protected] and we'll complete your submission manually.

If the Continue button isn't responding mid-quiz

  1. Wait 3–5 seconds. The button sometimes processes briefly before advancing — tapping multiple times can slow things down or trigger errors.

  2. Check your internet connection. The quiz saves each step. Spotty WiFi can cause Continue to silently fail.

  3. Refresh the page. Your progress is preserved up to the last completed step.

  4. Try a different browser. If you're on Safari, try Chrome (or vice versa). Some browser extensions block our quiz scripts.

  5. Disable browser extensions. Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and content blockers occasionally interfere. Try an incognito/private window where extensions are off by default.

  6. Try on a different device. If your laptop is misbehaving, try your phone — or vice versa.

Did you skip an answer?

Some questions are required. The Continue button won't activate until every required answer on the screen is selected. Scroll up — there might be a question you missed.

If you see an error message

Take a screenshot and message us in chat with:

  • The error text

  • Which quiz step you're on

  • Your browser and device (e.g., "Chrome on iPhone 15")

This helps us reproduce and fix the issue fast.

If the button is fully unresponsive
