You can cancel your Journey subscription at any time, no questions asked.

How to cancel

Cancellation is self-serve through Stripe's secure customer portal:

  1. Sign in at tryrituala.com

  2. Go to Account → Subscription

  3. Click Manage next to your current plan — this opens the Stripe billing portal

  4. Click Cancel subscription and confirm

You'll see a confirmation immediately, and your account will show "Cancels on [date]" on the subscription page.

What happens after you cancel

  • You keep full Journey access until the end of your current billing period. Since Journey is billed annually, that means you keep premium features (unlimited routine generations, 100 AI messages/month, expert review, progress tracking, seasonal updates) until your renewal date.

  • You won't be billed again. The subscription stops at period end.

  • Your routine and hair profile stay in your account. You'll still be able to view your most recent routine after the period ends — you just lose Journey-only features (progress tracking history stays viewable but new tracking pauses, no more adaptive updates, AI chat drops to the free-tier limit).

Can I change my mind before the period ends?

Yes — if you cancel and then change your mind before the renewal date, you'll see a Resume Subscription button on the subscription page. One click and you're back to normal, no need to re-enter payment info.

Reactivating after the period ends

If you fully lapse and want to come back later, you can resubscribe from the same Account → Subscription page. Your hair profile and most recent routine are preserved, so you don't have to start over. Pricing at that point is whatever the current Journey rate is — we can't guarantee launch pricing forever.
